  1. This one didn't interest me at first glance but when I thought about it, it makes sense for me. Personally, I think of forests as secluded, romantic, intimate, comforting places. There have been times I've felt called to find a secluded spot to wait and open up my heart to God and see what happens. For me, "Going to the forest" remains a metaphor for being called into God's embrace.
    This being the place (or frame of mind, or time) where I decide how much I want to give up, and how much I want to receive back from my God who has an endless supply for me.
