  1. Now, this one resonates for me on a very personal level, because it engages a memory of a beach I used to go to in the UK that was often used for illicit trysts in the sand dunes (not by me!). I find this particular image and text juxtaposition therefore quite provocative. Without that memory or association though, I think I would struggle with this one.

  2. Hmmm. Edward could have chosen black letters here and it would have been obviously easier to read. He chose white, harder to read letters, like trying to read small words on a sunny car windshield while riding along a bumpy road...

  3. i'm trying to let the text be [literally] more hidden this time around. i also think there's more friction between the images and text this time. maybe.

  4. In this one, I'd agree there is more friction given the light on light, which I like. The road brings you right to the text.

  5. The words could be floating in space or on glass in front of an out-of-focus scene. Are we going to see out-of-focus words focusing on a sharp scene?
