I like the choice of black text here as opposed to the (to my mind) more obvious white on a darker image like this. The black adds to a "noir" feel of mystery here. This looks like a cog in a machine - perhaps a recording device of some sort. For some reason it just feels like a noir spy film to me. And I like that.
