and so april's eLABorations pave the way for may's eLABorations.
once again, i'd be very interested in your responses to our previous questions:
- which combinations [this month] are more effective or resonant for you? why do you think that is?
- which pieces [this month] are less effective or 'flatter' for you? why do you think that is?
the additional question i have for you this month is about the text. several people commented about the shift in point of view. I would be curious to know how our participants and visitors respond to that change. does it feel like an anomaly? is it too intrusive, or too much of a shift? why or why not? what does the change in 'voice' affect the way you interact with the text/ image?
over the next month or so, there are some plans to change the functionality of the site as some people are finding the commenting process somewhat arduous, and i really do want your comments and thoughts. i will also be begin posting compendiums of the month's images as a way to take a look at overall tone of a particular month.
again, please consider revisiting past pieces and commenting or re-commenting on them. as the collaboration moves forward, it would be good to see if the ongoing narrative impacts how we read past collaborations.
thanks again to all those who continue to view and/or participate.
