it's definitely an image that involves some deciphering, but i think it's interesting with the table setting and the intimation that this is a shared space, an intimate space. and then there's that ghost portrait...
Actually, I disagree, Wenda. I find this one of the most intriguing images because it is out of focus and not immediately identifiable. My eye wants to study in a way it didn't with the 'easy' images. There is interpretation needed here that draws me in.
From far away the image looked like a close up of a retro vinyl tablecloth. Very colourful!
